Special Treasures

I have brought a pirate treasure chest to store my special treasures in. I usually give these out when students have done their best work, do something nice for somebody else or do something responsible without being asked. The students love it and strive to receive a treasure from the chest.
I switch the treasures up all the time sometimes ill put in bendy pencils, scratch and sniff stickers, cool erasers and little other things all all of us love :)

Daily Timetable

This is something I have made at home to solve the problem of students asking "What are we doing today?" I find it gets them excited and enthused about what is happening later on that day as well. It also helps them with prediction skills and tells them this the date for all their work that day. And the best thing... It's all student controlled, I liked to focus on it in the morning especially with students who have special needs who benefit from organisation.

A Little About me

I am an emergency teacher or as some like to call it CRT who is looking for  a full time position.
Whilst I am looking I have found myself getting super excited about setting up my own classroom.
I also see many great ideas whilst teaching in a vast sea of classrooms with so many creative approaches.

I wanted to make this blog to share these great ideas with everyone as well as a way of documenting these ideas for myself to use in my own classroom one day.

I hope you all find inspiration to brighten and enhance your classrooms, students and your passion to teach.

Much love,

Casey :)
